On Wednesday, August 6, 2025, Cardano Ambassador and founder of Cardano Ghana Community, Mohammed Mustapha Yakubu held an educational and onboarding meetup with the Hereafter Ghana team. Hereafter Ghana is a nonprofit non governmental civil society organization based in Tamale working in the areas of health, education, charity and livelihood empowerment to save lives, empower individuals and build independent communities especially the underserved communities.
Mustapha as part of the Hereafter Ghana team took the opportunity, to onboard the tech-savvies and young youth advocates to appreciate the use cases of Cardano and the innovative funding ecosystem, Project Catalyst.
It was an amazing session with the team as they created their Cardano wallets on Eternl, migrating them to browser extension in order to register for contributor and proposer roles on Catalyst App in the current Fund14 cycle. I was excited for the enthusiasm of the team to embrace Catalyst especially the Community Review (CR) role to contribute to shaping Catalyst and blockchain innovation. Unfortunately, it was same day Ghana experienced the national tragic incident of Military Helicopter crash which led to the demise of eight (8) statesmen, but we had just concluded the session when the news broke.
