The Shanghai International Blockchain Week, the largest and most influential blockchain gathering in China, has been held during 16–18 September 2019 by the Wanxiang Blockchain Labs, a top blockchain research institute in China. This year the event has brought together more than 2000 participants and 250 experts of 50 global projects to share their insights and experience on blockchain security, cross-chain technology, and staking.
The China team of the Cardano Foundation, namely @MichaelYangCF and @ryanhe, attended the summit and events during the week. It was an extremely productive opportunity for the Cardano Foundation to communicate with the enthusiastic community and global projects at the most widely recognized blockchain summit of China.
The China blockchain industry has flourished since 2018, China is leading the world in the use and development of blockchain technology. It has by far filed the most patents related to blockchain in the world.
