Recap: Cardano Foundation's Inaugural Meetup in Taipei

Following Cardano’s participation at the Asia Blockchain Summit in Taipei early this month, the Foundation team organized and hosted the Inaugural Cardano Meetup in Taipei. Nathan Kaiser’s opening address included a brief introduction of the Cardano Foundation, Emurgo and IOHK. Mike Yang from Emurgo shared the latest developments at our commercial project partner. Lei Hao of IOHK also introduced the Cardano branded Tangem cards to the attendees and explained how to use them for transferring funds. The evening was spent in engaging interactions between the Taiwanese community members and Cardano project members. Thanks to Jonathan Knowles, Haskell developer of IOHK, and Mike Yang, Social Media/Content Creator of Emurgo, who also joined the meetup and introduced IOHK and Emurgo.

It was a fruitful time for Cardano Foundation in Taipei. We were able to speak with our partners, international media and many community members. Coming up next is the World Blockchain Summit in Singapore and the SPOT conference in Hong Kong, where Nathan Kaiser will be delivering keynote speeches and the Foundation team will be hosting more Cardano meetups. Looking forward to seeing you there!
