At the Cardano Foundation, transparency and accountability guide our participation in onchain governance. Following a detailed evaluation of the submissions for the 2026 Intersect Budget Process, we are sharing our official voting decisions and the rationales behind them.
Our Review Criteria
Our subject matter experts assessed each proposal through three core lenses<:
-
Ecosystem Growth: We evaluated whether the initiative drives meaningful utility, usage, or long-term value for the network
-
Budget Feasibility: We ensured the requested funding is realistic, proportionate, and backed by a clear breakdown.
-
Strategy Alignment: We confirmed the proposal aligns with the Cardano 2030 framework and uphold Our Cardano.

Why Rationales & Participation Matter
Decentralized governance requires transparency. We have published our individual voting rationales to explain the why behind every choice, whether we supported an initiative or opted to vote “No” or “Abstain” due to unquantified KPIs, budget padding, or overlapping frameworks.
We want to thank Intersect for providing a smooth governance experience this cycle via the improvements made to the process itself, the information that was readily available on their knowledge base, and the Hydra Voting Tool.
DReps: The official voting period remains open until 12 June 2026 at 12:00 UTC. We highly encourage you to review our compiled rationales and cast your votes!
