Cardano Meetup Online #8 was held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM (GMT+7) via Zoom, with the participation of many ADA holders, community members, and Cardano enthusiasts.

  • An overview of the Cardano Budget 2025 and an introduction to the Net Change Limit, a hot topic in the governance space.
  • We also discussed the Cardano Foundation’s recent Roadmap livestream, which sparked interest and debate across the community.
  • The meetup explored the roles of major ecosystem entities like IOG, Emurgo, Intersect, and Cardano Foundation in shaping Cardano’s direction.

:three: Upcoming Event – Cardano Builder Fest Asia in Da Nang

  • A highlight of the meetup was the announcement of Cardano Builder Fest Asia, to be held in Da Nang, Vietnam.
  • The event will welcome 100 experienced developers from around the world to connect and collaborate with Vietnamese Cardano developers.
  • This will be a great opportunity for local builders to meet international peers, share ideas, and strengthen global connections.

:four: Tutorial: Creating Tokens & Memcoins on Cardano

  • A short demo covered the basics of creating native tokens and Memcoins on Cardano, either using the CLI or beginner-friendly tools.
  • Many participants showed excitement and asked how to try making their own tokens.

Community Engagement & Discussions

The meetup had a warm and open atmosphere. Participants shared views on Cardano’s future and the role of its key organizations.

The Memcoin segment also brought a lighter mood to the event, encouraging people to get hands-on and try things out after the session.
