With the interest of Polban University, we summed up the audience of 60 people divided into 2 classes. The first class focuses on reviewer and proposer, while the second class focuses on roles in Project Catalyst. This session was also equipped with a woman centric point of view, as the minorities of gender in blockchain industry, and to get the attention of male students to be aware that gender equality among people in Indonesia has its place.
This event at Bandung Polytechnic was held in two different classes, the first class at 9 am and the second class at 11 am. Both classes have different interests. The second class is more enthusiastic about Project Catalyst.
Women empowerment is a significant topic of discussion in development and economics.
Economic empowerment allows women in controlling and getting benefit from resources, assets
and incomes. It also grows the ability to manage risks and improves well-being. It refers to women’s ability to make strategic life choices which had been previously denied them. The world, Nations, businesses, communities and groups may benefit from women empowerment. It enhances the quality and the quantity of human resources available for development.
The action and promotion of participation is similar to the means of Cardano’s participation.
Appointed female students to be lead proposer and also subject to direct the whole proposal to be a good project that is executable locally, but impacted globally. Not just that, these leaders were also appointed to get the first comments to review a proposal. We continue the one on one session privately. Each student managed to get a better perspective with impact, feasibility, and value for money topics. To make it more visible to them, there will be another session on different dates and time.
As the topic expands to the DAO ecosystem, governance, and Cardano Constitution, all 4 female students are actively engaged, they are aware that what’s being delivered and executable activities are the main point beside the theoretical woman empowerment. We will continue this activity after the project’s end. The demand will grow to another different class and subjects at Polban University. The appointed female students will have a chance to “Post a Job” to other students in the university. While doing that, we also keep a sustainable motive to get them sources of profession that are available in the Cardano ecosystem. This movement supported by Mrs. Tia, Lecturer of Entrepreneurship Class with over 10 years of dedicating her life to this university. She also agreed to get us to accompany the female students this semester.
