Hello beautiful soul,
Another week flew by in Catalyst land! We hope you didn’t miss the wallet registration snapshot on September 11. This means we are gearing up for the Fund14 voting window, scheduled to open on September 22 and run until October 6.
Between now and then, a few final steps are underway. Our seasoned community members are quality-checking the initial community reviews, and the final proposal list is being moderated. The initial list of 1,643 submissions is expected to shrink by about 400, bringing the final count to around 1,200 proposals, mainly due to incomplete information or not meeting category requirements. Kudos to all the community members participating in the moderation bounty pilot program in Fund14! We’re already looking at how to strengthen the learnings heading into Fund15.
But the most interesting news this week is a look towards the future. In collaboration with the Cardano Foundation, we are running a ‘dry run’ to explore the concept of a future Catalyst dRep (Delegated Representative) role. This role is still deep in development, but we want to test some mechanics and brainstorm with you now to help shape its future.
A key part of this exploration is you. That’s why we’re inviting community experts to participate in live ‘Community Roundtable Talks’ to help shape this concept.

In other exciting news, the ecosystem is buzzing with new talent. Techstars Cardano pre-Accelerator pitching interviews took place over the last couple of days, and what an incredible turnout! We’re seeing amazing interest from seasoned ecosystem veterans and a very healthy mix of newcomers looking to port, integrate, and learn about Cardano. Onboarding of talent has begun, and I couldn’t be more bullish on the prospect. More news to come soon.
Wishing you a great week ahead.

We invited Digifarm, a Fund12 project that’s harnessing satellite imagery, AI, and Cardano NFTs to bring smallholder farms into the digital economy. By creating on-chain field identities, the initiative showcased how farmers can gain fairer access to credit, insurance, and sustainable growth. Sounds exciting?
