Hello there, beautiful soul!
Hope this message finds you well.
World of Project Catalyst is rolling another week forward. This means that we’re now past the halfway point for public submissions for Fund11 draft proposals.
Remember, F11 submissions are now open with new categories until Nov 30 for public drafts, with the ability to finalize these drafts by Dec 7.
There also is now registration open for Community Reviewers. Just navigate to cardano.ideascale.com and answer the pop-up message that comes up if you’d like to participate. Make sure to do so before Dec 10.
What else? We’ve seen two great close-out reports. Fund6 proposal from ENCOINS with their completion of Private Transactions. Check out the close-out presentation here. Or stellar work from Cardano4Climate group and their proposal about Community Collaboration Standards. Catch their presentation here. There also was a great brief interview conducted by TK Princewill with Benedict Corroon, Developer Relations Lead at IOG, on the topic of understanding and working with communities.
So what is happening elsewhere? Let’s dive right in.

What’s new in Fund11?
Learning about Fund11 for the first time today? Make sure to check out the Catalyst Weekly #91 to get all the latest. You can review that copy here. There are lots of exciting updates, changes, and more.
In other news, the milestone module integration with the Project Catalyst website is now complete. Additionally, a full data refresh has been executed, encompassing the Fund10 cohort data. This enables users to efficiently track the progress of each funded project within the milestone program.
This marks another significant achievement in enhancing overall accountability for fundees.
Join Governance Guild and other web3 communities on Friday, December 1, 2023, 16:00-18:00 UTC, for another Grassroots Governance Community Forum.
The session will open with a discussion on “What is community, and can we sustain it in the absence of funding?”, followed by a choice of two great breakout rooms:
Breakout 1: Decentralised Treasury Management Models and Legal Requirements, facilitated by the Internet Native Organization (INO)
Breakout 2: Community, Governance, Community building, and Intersect (the Cardano MBO), facilitated by Governance Guild and José de Gamboa.
It’ll end with a plenary discussion on the issues raised:
- Date - 1st December 2023
- Time – 16:00 – 18:00 UTC
- Where - Live on Zoom – register here
A Project Catalyst funding round consists of four phases: proposal submission, community review, community voting, and onboarding. We are in the proposal submission phase, where the community has until Nov 30 to submit a proposal to answer one of the many challenges found here.
