Cardano D Parameter
Some of you noticed the D parameter was halted and wonder when it will move again.
Over the Christmas Holidays IOG staff had well deserved time off work with their families. To reduce risk of hiccups, IOG changed the D parameter to 0.32 (68% blocks created by community pools) and temporarily paused the process.
As you can see decentralisation will continue from epoch 241, 10th January 2021, with D = 0 due to be complete on epoch 256 which starts on 26th March 2021.
