Cardano Hub Brazil Expands Blockchain Education in Rio
Cardano Hub Brazil is advancing its mission to make blockchain education more accessible, with two new initiatives launched in Rio de Janeiro:
- Vila Kennedy: A program focused on crypto education and financial empowerment in one of Rio’s most underserved neighborhoods. The initiative aims to increase awareness of blockchain tools and promote financial inclusion. Read more
- Niterói: A partnership with the city’s Digital Urban Platform to deliver blockchain and Web3 education. This initiative seeks to expand opportunities for learning and innovation within the local community. Read more
Alongside these community programs, Maria Carmo, an advocate for education in Brazil, has been bringing blockchain literacy to the favelas. Her work highlights the challenges and risks of teaching in these areas, but also the potential for blockchain to support empowerment and inclusion.
Together, these efforts demonstrate how grassroots Cardano initiatives and dedicated individuals are helping communities engage with blockchain tools and opportunities.
Community Approves $71M (96M ada) for Core Development

Final Call: Vote to Update the Interim Constitutional Committee
A reminder to all Cardano DReps and SPOs: your vote is crucial for keeping governance running. The interim Constitutional Committee completes its service on September 6, 2025.
Without a replacement, governance will lose the ability to carry out treasury withdrawals, budget updates, constitution changes, parameter adjustments, and hard forks.
The Constitutional Committee plays a central role by ensuring all governance actions align with the constitution, and without it, progress grinds to a stop.
To prevent disruption, it is important to participate in the Governance Action “Replace Interim Constitutional Committee”. DReps and SPOs, make sure you cast your vote today.
More information, including links to the voting tools, can be found here.
Cardano Ambassador Mike Hornan has also put together a very useful video with a simple explanation of the three credential types used in the Cardano Constitution. View to video here.
SNEK Achieves Major Milestone with Triple Exchange Listings
On August 12, the SNEK team announced a major milestone that will be remembered as SNEK’s Triple Triumph Day.
In a single move, $SNEK achieved listings on three top-tier centralized exchanges: Crypto.com, HTX, and KuCoin. This marks a huge step forward for the token and highlights the growing recognition of Cardano native assets across global trading platforms.
Congratulations to the SNEK team on this achievement. We look forward to seeing even more Cardano native tokens reach new listings and continue expanding their presence worldwide.
