Eastern Cardano Council statement to the Cardano Community
A new Cardano Constitution has now been enacted on-chain.
Our vote on the Governance Action that presented it to the Cardano Community: gov_action1jxne7hynfd7frcczwumd2eggps4kvy0msjztz9t0mutpy870ksgqqp6vps addressed how the Constitution was produced, not what has now been enacted.
With the new Constitution now in force, we will take the time needed to carefully review and understand its implications before considering further governance actions.
During this period, we will not vote on constitutional matters on behalf of the community. This pause is intentional and responsible. It ensures that any future decisions are made with clarity, accuracy, and respect for the Constitution as it now stands.
We will update the community once this review is complete.
