The next round of testing will take place on the Ergo network.
This will likely confuse average investors since it is not the testnet that IOHK built. People are more familiar with the Shelly Testnet than anything else.
If done on the Shelly Testnet it will attract far more attention due to the publicity it has already received from people than hearing it will be done on Ergo.
The ITN should be brought back and listed on an exchange in order to have an incentive to maintain the TestNet. This will give those that test out their protocols a mainnet feel.
