Practical Guide: Where to Start?

Phase 1: Risk-Free Discovery (Testnet)

  1. Create a testnet wallet: Set up Eternl, Lace or Yorroi wallet on the Preprod network
  2. Get free test ADA: Via the Cardano Testnet Faucet
  3. Experiment with transfers: Send tADA between different addresses
  4. Test staking: Delegate your test ADA to a pool
  5. Explore testnet DApps: Familiarize yourself with applications

Phase 2: Going Live (Mainnet)

  1. Create a main wallet: Use Lace with a NEW recovery phrase
