How is Bitcoin not printing money?

These forks, while keeping the Bitcoin name, are not Bitcoin. Can we call every fork of Bitcoin, Bitcoin _________?

Now seeing Bitcoin cash stream along while remaining very high on the marketcap mind you, just reeks of corruption.

My angst could be misplaced however due to ignorance. Could anyone fill me in?

It is literally printing money , but the value of that money is set by participants real time. Like if you have 100 of mkt cap , it is 100 by consensus of buyers and sellers. If everyone sold, the cap presale would be 0 … if 10% of people bought, the cap would seemingly vanish down to <10 and the money would figuratively unprint. it is a property of what economists call market asset pricing (the act of)
