On April 20, 2026, voting officially opens for the Intersect Committee Elections, a key moment for the Cardano ecosystem, giving members the power to shape governance and leadership for the year ahead.
Here is everything you need to know to participate effectively.
Who is eligible to vote?
Only Individual and Enterprise members are eligible to vote and to apply for committee seats, as defined in the membership benefits.
Associate members are not eligible, as this benefit is not included in their membership tier.
How many candidates can you vote for?
For each committee, eligible members can vote for up to 5 candidates.
You can also rank them in order of preference, which helps reflect your priorities in the final outcome.
Can candidates vote for themselves?
Yes. If you are a candidate, you can:
- Vote for yourself and up to 4 other candidates within your committee;
- Vote for up to 5 candidates in other committees.
Can you change your vote after submitting?
Yes. You can modify or update your vote at any time before the voting period ends.
You may also decide to withdraw your selections entirely. Only your final submission before the deadline will be counted.
Why should you participate?
Voting is more than a right, it is a meaningful contribution to the ecosystem:
-
Participate in decentralized governance
You help choose the individuals who will guide Intersect and contribute to the evolution of Cardano for the next year. -
Build your reputation
By voting, you receive a badge displayed on your Intersect profile, demonstrating your active involvement in the community.
