First of all, thank you to everyone who supported me during the Intersect 2026 elections. ![]()
The results are now available in INTERSECT RESUTS. I sincerely congratulate all the elected candidates and wish them a successful mandate in serving the community.
Even though I was not elected this time, I remain fully engaged as a current MCC (Membership and Community Committee) member until September, and I remain deeply committed to contributing to the ecosystem.
Why You Should Join Intersect
I would also like to take this opportunity to encourage more community members to join Intersect.
Intersect is a member-based organization (MBO) built on a fundamental principle: governance belongs to its members. Without members, there is no Intersect. Cardano’s on-chain governance needs off-chain discussion and coordination — and that’s exactly what Intersect provides.
Intersect was incorporated on July 13, 2023, in Wyoming, USA.

“Intersect is simply an aggregation and coordination point. Without passionate, knowledgeable members, we provide no value.”

About the MCC (Membership and Community Committee)
As a current MCC member, I can tell you that the committee’s mission is enhancing Intersect’s value to its members as Cardano’s member-based organization. This involves:
- Overseeing Community Grants and Outreach & Education buckets of the Cardano annual budget
- Acting as a hub of knowledge to foster connection and decision making
- Advising Intersect staff on membership, community support, grants, education, and events
The MCC holds public meetings every four weeks, and all Intersect members are invited to attend.

What’s Next
In the coming days, new opportunities will continue to open for members to apply for roles and participate in governance processes, including elections and working groups.
In this round the 2026 committee election key dates were:
- Application period: March 30 – April 17, 2026
- Voting period: April 20 – May 1, 2026 and results May 5 at 5PM UTC
wainting for the next election after 6 months as usually unless new updates
Whether you want to help draft constitutional amendments, contribute to open source development, or participate in budget oversight — there is a place for you.
Final Word
I strongly encourage everyone in the Cardano community to become a member, participate, vote, and contribute.
Intersect is built by the community, for the community. But it only works if the community shows up.
