Hi everyone,
I am looking for a Cardano stake pool with lower fees. My current pool seems a bit expensive, and I would like to compare it more objectively with others.
A friend told me that many “best pool” recommendations online come from pool operators themselves, so I am looking for a more neutral source. I have already checked some of the common pool sites, but as a beginner I still find it hard to compare the real cost impact between pools, especially with different stake sizes.
I was hoping there might be a simpler, more beginner-friendly comparison somewhere. I have also asked this on Reddit, just in case, but I am still hoping to find a clearer and more beginner-friendly answer here. Nina
Thank you very much for your kind reply and for pointing me to the calculator at Cardano Staking Calculator, Estimate Your ada Rewards | Cardano. I had not come across it before, and I already found it genuinely very helpful.
I was also recommended this page for an additional pool comparison: Cardano Pool EASY1 — Rewards, Costs & Performance. Both resources are really helpful and make it much easier for someone like me as a beginner to compare pools in a clearer way.
Great question — comparing pools can definitely be confusing at first.
Besides fees, it’s also important to look at performance and saturation. Sometimes smaller pools can offer better long-term potential, especially for early delegators.
You can also check a simple comparison here:
It gives a clear view of rewards, costs, and performance.
Thank you so much for the helpful tips, I really appreciate it! You’re absolutely right, I hadn’t really thought about saturation and how smaller pools could actually be a better choice long-term. That’s a great point.
And wow, thanks for sharing that PoolRadar link https://poolradar.io/pool/BLOKY! I just checked it out and I have to say, the direct pool comparison is really excellent. Honestly, that’s exactly what I was looking for as a beginner.
By the way, is BLOKY your own pool? If so, that’s really cool. It’s always nice to hear directly from a stake pool operator.
Yes, BLOKY is my own pool, and I’m currently in the early stage focusing on building a stable and reliable setup while helping new delegators better understand staking.
In my experience, it’s best not to focus only on low fees, but also on consistency and long-term performance. Smaller pools can also be a good option if you’re open to supporting decentralization and potentially benefiting as an early delegator.
No pressure at all — just happy to share what I’ve learned
I also really value having a good and constructive connection with delegators so we can grow the Cardano community together. If you ever have any questions, feel free to reach out here or by email:
