Joint workshop with node developers and Antithesis engineers

As you might be aware, we have started collaborating with https://antithesis.com to provide access to this platform to the cardano communit of node builders (and related). More details about this journey available at Blog | CF/Antithesis.

Antithesis is a powerful but complex platform, and I am convinced it could contribute significantly to foster node diversity by ensuring the highest possible level of quality.

In order to help more teams leverage this tool’s capabilities, share results, ideas, learn new techniques and so on, we (AT and I) are considering organising a joint workshop where engineers from AT would join interested people and work together for 1 or 2 days to setup environments, build interesting test cases, learn the ropes of the platform, share feedback.

Dates: September 22-23 or 29-30
Location: Toulouse, France (same location than Buidler Fest #1)

Please reply if you are interested. If enough people show up their interest, I am happy to supervise the organisation of the workshop.

Definitively interested from an SPO and Testnet perspective.
Or is this event’s content heavy AT and node developers oriented?

I would certainly want to focus this event on Antithesis, but expertise on what to test and how to operate nodes will certainly be more than welcome.

Very interested to participate and maybe even rally for this to have a good representation of node developers across implementations there :slightly_smiling_face:

Also sounds a lot like whatever we set up there qualifies as a proof of concept for Tartarus

You guys should make this happen. Wishing you all the best in execution!

Hi Arnaud, thank you for the initiative! We’d be interested in joining to learn more about AT capabilities and explore how they could support us in the Midgard node development.

Sounds really interesting, particularly if we get the Node Diversity Gang back together :slightly_smiling_face:

Personally I could make the 22/23 but not the 29th if I have to travel on the 28th.
