Ledger Wallet or Daedalus plug-in for Ledger / Cold Storage

Hi All,

I know it is early days, however is there room to develop a wallet for Ledger products in the future.
If Daedalus is our only choice, then is this not defeating the point of flexibility’/options etc as outlined within the theory of the Cardano WP.
Further, is it plausible for myself to reach out to Ledger to broach this subject or are “Cold Storage” wallets on your time line in the future.

Ledger support would be great. Do not know if IOHK has plans for integration yet tough
