Need help to move the blockchain on an external hard drive

Hi,
I am no programmer and I have zero knowledge of the terminal.
Please someone could explain to me how I can move the entire blockchain from my hard-drive to an external hard drive in a way that I will have more space?

I am on a MAC with High sierra.

Consider yourself talking to a person with 10 of IQ.
