Move Daedalus to external Drive (OSX)

Hi :slight_smile:

my disk space is getting really full with the increasing transaction volume on the Cardano chain. So I would love to move the Chain Data to an external drive. I found some Tutorials for Windows but not for OSX… sadly I´m not that technical to adapt the Windows Tutorial to OSX so I wonder I someone can maybe come up with step by step instructions for OSX ?

same issue here, with apple only having small internal HD’s and you need to rely on external drives it’s a joke that there is no solution

I moved my daedalus to a different hard drive successfully using this link How to Move Daedalus State Folder to a Different Drive was done successfully and I restored my wallets. When I restarted my computer, and tried to open daedalus I get this error message:

Error occured during loading configuration file: Failed ToDecodeFile (InvalidYami (Just (YamiException "Yami Fale notfound E:\daedalus mainnet 1\launcher-config.yami)))

Need help
