I noticed the latest 1.31.0 came out.
I follow instructions on Coincashew’s guide but the guide for updating has not come out yet.
Is it okay waiting until the guide comes out?
How long nodes can be operated without updating the new version?

You can safely follow the Coincashew guide to update to 1.31.0 even though they wrote it for a prior version.
The commands will transfer fine to the latest version.
Should nodes be updated as soon as the latest vesion releases?

I like to wait a few days.
Just updated all 3 nodes today.
Alternatively, you could also just run it like this …
