no, tmux was from the stake pool operators guide
when i swap out the old db for the new one Iām back to square one. it may be worth it to have my producer resync. whatever the issue is, its in that old db folder
Understandā¦but what eror?
Aa ok, wait few minutes⦠it takes like 6-7 maybe more to start
I waited 9
Then try to uncomment the socket line from env⦠delete # save and restart the node
Whatās the value in keeping the old DB files? (other than not having to wait for it to go through syncing process?) in other words- pursuing initialization with the recreated db folder that confirmed works and makes node0.socket
Ok, u can delete then⦠and start without it I think u will need to wait again to sync
db = blockchain
Makes sense, do you use cn-tools or is it seen as a lesser way of interacting with the node than tmux? Because Iām pretty certain it was involved in blowing up my socket
I use cntools yes;
How is it? Itās working now?
Syncing?
yes both the bum relay and the producer are resyncing to the chain, and I am removing the old db onto my computer for backup and analysis to see what the issue was there, also to free up space on my producer. Also, quick question, since I registered my staking pool before all of this, would it be on its way to getting created (like is it queued) or is it waiting on my producer? I didnāt see it show up on pooltools.io
What is the ticker?
TRUEC didnt see it on pooltool - Iām going to pull the pool id and see if that helps
Ah, I found it with the pool id. I freakin love this stuff. Thanks for your help, Iām really excited
Yes; wait for the node ro be synced than check if itās started like a producer⦠and check in cntools -pool - show
can u show me the metadata link?
Where do u host it?
Not ok; u need to change the branche to master and press raw⦠but wait first for the nodes to be sync
okay, so Iām waiting for the nodes to be synced and then I follow this guide?
Pressing raw just gives me the readout on my browser.
I made in the past few tests and it works only after I changed the branch to master (by default I think is main)
