Odd issue where port had disappeared before wallet registration

you just change the name from main to master, or is this an organization thing?

But not the name… look to my example

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Alexd1985/a/master/a.json

is this the link you have in your pool setup?

I had this link before to move the metadata ro my domain… (I had an issue with ssl certificate at the begining)

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/johncollinsgit/a/master/a.json

so this?

Yes, I didn’t use the nonce… but u can try this way

I’ll give it a shot, thank you very much, will this fix it’s ability to show ticker on pooltool Daedalus etc?

But… ur ticker is visible on pooltool… did u checked again?

just did. Man thank you, that’s huge, I’m using the proceeds to help fund an adoption for our 4th child, a little boy. I really appreciate your help man, been huge. I’ll send you some ada as a tip  My relay finished syncing and it’s still giving the socket issue the last one was. So I’ll mess around with it and see if I can’t bring it back to life.

never mind i just fixed it by uncommenting env line! Woohoo!

Man, relax, don’t tip me

haha alright, appreciate it though. Good work

I noticed on pool tools that my relays weren’t connected. So my first thought was to look at the topology file in the files folder (getting the hang of it!) and did indeed notice the file was changed after I reinitialized the database. So I changed the topo file and am not seeing any ā€œprocessed TXā€ my hunch is it will take some time to run through do you mind looking over this and making sure this is all correct? Also my second relay is not done re-initializing the database, so i’m waiting on it to show up:

U have 0 IN PEERS in ur Producer… if u fixed the topology file… restart the Producer

I’m pretty sure I did, just did again to be safe, says I have 1 peer going out with 0 going in. Should I restart the relay node as well? - also, I checked the topologyupdater.sh file on the working relay node, everything looks correct there as well.

on your producer tipe

sudo ufw status
did u opened the port 6001 for both relays?

and yes, restart the relay as well if u didn’t.
can u show me the relay glive output?

go to your relay and type

telnet PRODUCER_IP 6001

it should say connected…

I restarted using systemctl restart cnode… yes that port is open to both relays… restarting my relay to see if that’s it

telnet says connected

running telnet made it connect I believe…

this is the producer

ok, now u have 1 out and 1 in connection…
