P2P Status on Mainnet 8.7.2

Does anybody know if P2P is already recommended by CF and/or IO to be used as the default method for relays and node producers? I cannot find any documentation other than the recommendation of having one relay with legacy and another using P2P.

Also, if the community recommends using P2P as the default on all relays, do we have to enable it in the node producer, too?

As far as i know its still recommanded to run 1 relay with p2p and 1 with topologyupdater.

However i run both my relays with p2p and it works perfectly fine.
