Signing Minting NFT Transaction on Ledger Nano

Hi! I am minting NFT using my local Cardano-Cli, for the security of my wallet I want to sign the transaction using Ledger Nano. Does Ledger Nano can sign a minting transaction?

Is hardware wallet support planned for cardano-cli?

Is it possible to hack something together? How complicated is the protocol that is spoken to the Ledgers and Trezors over USB?
