So a discussion or something that is not to be tolerated by Ambassador/Leader or CF can just be removed

So tell me who pulled the post that @rickymac posted regarding Konfidio CEO Dr. Mervyn G. Maistry. Why, what on earth for. Rob @robjf might have made a comment regarding Nathan Kaiser @Nathan_Kaiser or was it my Snow flake comment that was not tolerated.

That was me and the reason can be seen here

Oh because I say someone is acting like a snow flake and shovelling fake news you become bigotry and intolerant. Hopefully CF @Nathan_Kaiser will see exactly who you are. Andy we have a saying Jy’s nog lig in jou broeks (you still light in your pants). Sad that both IOHK and Emurgo are moving towards decentralization @IOHK_Charles and CF with people like you @Andy_Hendrikx are stuck and intolerant of change because you so far left of central you don’t even know it. You gag every opportunity to grow this forum and allowing it to go places that might make you uncomfortable. “Opportunities don’t happen. You create them.”-- Chris Grosser “All progress takes place outside the comfort zone.”-- Michael John Bobak. “Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.”-- Helen Keller This forum is going nowhere thanks to people like you. There is dynamic and imaginative ways how this forum could and should evolve i just cannot believe how uncreative CF is in developing this forum and upgrading the software to take this forum to a different perspective and be unique and a forerunner. Guess i’m wasting my time.

@Andy_Hendrikx and @knysna I bet If my Twitter feed looked like the CEO of Konfidio but reversed against Liberals, Democrats, Muslims and Europeans I have a pretty good hunch that the CF never would have made me an Ambassador, or likely would have revoked it.

Speaking of discussing things why did Pascal Smith resign from Cardano Foundation? Hopefully something really simple as moving on to other career etc but would be nice to know somewhat more than that he just resigned.

Thanks for posting. I’m a big believer in civil discourse. That is why I’m no fan of Twitter and other social media sites as they have a tendency to degenerate into thoughtless name calling and virtue signalling. I really think they have a chilling tendency to bring out the worst in people. Coincidentally I just watched a video that made me think of some of the posts I’ve seen on Twitter. Link below:

So… my portfolio doesn’t care about my politics or religion.

However, I’m not sure how you equate Socialism with Block-chain?
Webster defines Socialism as:
Any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods

2a : a system of society or group living in which there is no private property

b : a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state
Central control by government is the opposite of what Blockchain is about.

Wouldn’t Blockchain be more like libertarian?
Webster definition:

  1. An advocate of the doctrine of free will

2a : a person who upholds the principles of individual especially of thought and action

You somehow managed to mix up socialism with communism. but hey, who wants to kill his dog …

I’m actually stunned that capitalists and socialists can agree that Crypto is a good thing for society. We must be on to something good here.

Love this quote from economist Milton Friedman 1999, The one thing that s missing, but that will soon be developed, is a reliable e-cash, a method whereby on the Internet you can transfer funds from A to B, without A knowing B or B knowing A.

Great insight ahead of his time.

Crypto doesn’t care about your politics : )

I dont like censorship. This hiden and flaged posts is dictatorship.
This is against the principles of what the crypto comunity stands for.

Dear all, this is me with my typical 24 - 48 hours delay in response - simply due to workload and time differences. We are now looking at the above thread and the various messages (hidden and not hidden, flagged and not flagged etc.). In principle, indeed we would like to err on the side of allowing more rather than less, and flag less rather than more. Keep in mind that our moderators are under pressure and still on a learning curve, and out of a sense of protection may sometimes act the other way.

Please give us some time and we will manage this better, and find a balance that leans towards an open and free discourse.

That being said, this forum is a place for civil interaction, with focus on Cardano and blockchain, and we will continue to strive to keep it this way.

Very best wishes, Nathan

This is a bit off-topic in this thread  but Pascal seemed to simply have felt that his time as nominee at the foundation had come to an end, so he resigned by simple email to the council members.

I haven’t read through this thread, because I’m here to continue to learn about blockchain. I think the Moderators and Ambassadors do a really good job keeping the foundation forum on-topic. I took the time to write this post to record a note of support for the Moderators and the Ambassadors.

Cardano is above and beyond when it comes to transparency. See for example tech demos and ama with questions from David Esser. Appriciate that you shed some light on Pascal Smiths resignation. Both IOHK and Cardano Foundation doing a great job with transparency. Now if we could also get some form of statement regarding EmurgoHK from Emurgo, since there has been forum post (including mine) wondering on the status of EmurgoHK. Now I have to add Emurgo has done a great job with transparency overall and for example the notifications when Yoroi server was offline certainly helped for public confidence in that project.

I’m always outside the loop. I’m assuming the CEO of Konfidio said somethings that offended some? I don’t have any account with Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram. So, unless it makes news I have no idea what people tweet. Anyways, no need to reply, I’ll just go with the guess some Tweets weren’t to kind to some.
