Im on Mac, I was able create an account and send transaction but cannot exit from mallet CLI. Tried quit, exit nothing works. I end up killing the app to exit

Nope, killing the process is only way i know
Same thing has been happening for me on linux - have to kill the process
@mogadget, turnes out Ctrl+D exits the console
