Fellow Cardano Community,
We need to look at the civilizational mirror and ask why human societies built physical walls, established laws, and created police forces. History proved that without walls, invaders looted accumulated wealth and destroyed culture. Without rules, brute power left citizens destitute. Without security for good, honest workers, the productive population fled.
In Web3, we have built a hi-tech metropolis, but we left the gates wide open. Physical force is no longer the weapon—social media voice, manufactured attention, and technical control are.
Outside mercenaries come in, leveraging social media noise to demand treasury capital under the guise of building for the community. But they build nothing but empty sandcastles built on vested interests. The moment real stress or rain hits, these structures collapse into dust. The mercenaries take their funds and move on, indifferent to the damage left behind.
Meanwhile, token holders, who were meant to act as the police safeguarding the treasury, have become accomplices. Blinded by ignorance and the arrogance of token wealth, many believe they are untouchable. They enable predatory actors while honest contributors get drowned out. If an ecosystem gives free rein to bad actors while failing to protect those doing real work, people will simply leave.
