The journey to bring Blockchain into official teaching at UNETI University with Cardano2vn
Hello to the Cardano community,
We – Cardano2vn (C2VN) – would like to share about the journey of accompanying the University of Industrial Economics and Technology (UNETI) in bringing Blockchain in general and Cardano Blockchain in particular into official teaching at the school. This is a multi-step journey, from meetings, exchanges, to events, workshops, basic courses and now is officially the official part of the training program.
Step 1: Meet and start cooperation
In the early period of 2023, C2VN and University Blockchain Alliance (UBA) had meetings with the Board of Directors and lecturers of UNETI IT department.
- Discuss the needs and orientation of new technology training for students.
- Shaping the Blockchain becomes a module that adds knowledge and opens up job opportunities.

Step 2: Organize events & student activities
Soon after, C2VN accompanied UNETI’s student activities, notably the K17 IT freshmen greeting event, in order to introduce Blockchain and Cardano to a large number of students.
- Form a group of students passionate about blockchain.
- Bringing the UNETI student community to the first step of access to Cardano.

Step 3: Train lecturers on Blockchain from basic to advanced for faculties in universities
- The teaching staff has been trained through the program “Developing the Blockchain Lecturer Team at Universities in Vietnam” organized by UBA & C2VN.

Step 4: Organize a Basic Blockchain Course for Blockchain Clubs
Continuing, C2VN and UNETI IT Department have implemented 4 basic Blockchain training sessions, taking reference materials from the CBCA program.
- Help students gain foundation knowledge: Blockchain, Cardano, wallet, trading, smart contract.
- Lay the foundation for advanced activities such as Blockchain programming and start-ups.

Basic Blockchain Classes at UNETI, Lecturers and Students Discuss Together
Step 5: Officially put Blockchain into teaching at UNETI
An important milestone: from the academic year 2025, Blockchain will officially be taught as an official module at UNETI.
- UNETI students have the opportunity to access blockchain technology right in the formal training program.
Conclusion
From an early idea and cooperation, the journey with UNETI has come to an important milestone: Blockchain is officially present in the university lecture hall.
This is the result of the cooperation between C2VN, UBA, faculty, students and the Cardano community.
We believe that, with this platform, generations of UNETI students will become new developers, researchers and entrepreneurs, contributing to building the Cardano ecosystem in Vietnam.
