US Largest Telecom company AT&T started accepting Crypto Payment via BitPay

One more step towards cryptocurrency. The United States largest Mobile carrier company AT&T will now accept payments in crypto through BitPay as per the companies short press release note. This is the biggest announcement in the cryptocurrency sector.

The integration of payment is completed now the company is allowing its customers to pay their phone bill via BitPay Online or through official company app myAT&T. BitPay is a well-known bitcoin payment service provider has headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, United States and they are providing a platform for crypto payment to AT&T. BitPay will process cryptocurrency and give them payment in regular cash. The telecom company is having more than 150 million subscribers as of Q4 2018 now they can pay their mobile phone bill through the cryptocurrency.

AT&T is the first US firm to accept cryptocurrency as a payment. Vice president of AT&T Communications Finance Business Operation- Kevin McDorman Said:

We’re always looking for ways to improve and expand our services.

“We have customers who use cryptocurrency, and we are happy we can offer them a way to pay their bills with the method they prefer”

AT&T is the major U.S. companies to obtain a blockchain-based patent and this is not only the first company that offers crypto payment other than AT&T, Microsoft, Expedia, Subway, Shopify, and Overstock has also accepting Cryptocurrency payments.
