Using cardano-cli from daedelus

Hi,

Just a quick question I need to use cardano-cli to run a few commands though:

1- I don’t want to have to recompile the full cardano node which is complicated on debian 10
2- I don’t want to download completely the blockchain again.

Is it possible to run cardano-cli commands on the Cardano node instance associated with a Daedelus wallet installation?

Theoretically this is possible, but I have not tried it.

Hi!

Yes, I think you only need to setup the CARDANO_NODE_SOCKET_PATH and the use the cardano-cli to query the node
