Governance Beliefs

  We believe that true governance must be decentralized, empowering the community to collectively shape the future of Cardano. Centralized decision-making can hinder innovation and inclusivity, which is why decentralization is at the core of our beliefs.

  Governance should be transparent, where every decision, rationale, and process is open for scrutiny. As DReps, we commit to being accountable to the community, ensuring that our actions reflect their best interests and values.
• Inclusivity and Representation
  Every voice matters. We believe that governance should be inclusive and represent diverse perspectives, ensuring that decisions are made with fairness and equity for all participants in the ecosystem, regardless of geography, language, or resources.
• Empowering the Community
  Governance is not just about decision-making but also about education and empowerment. We believe that fostering a well-informed community leads to better, more impactful governance outcomes. Our goal is to provide resources, guidance, and a platform for individuals to engage meaningfully.

Motivation

We want to become DReps to actively contribute to Cardano’s growth and success. We have experience as community administrators, speakers, and trainers for the DRep training program in Vietnam. These roles have prepared us to represent diverse perspectives and actively engage with the community. We are motivated by a shared passion for fostering innovation and inclusivity within the Cardano ecosystem.

As DReps, we aim to bridge the gap between the global Cardano community and the vibrant Vietnamese community. With our expertise in governance and our deep understanding of local cultural contexts, we can ensure that every voice, no matter how small, is heard and represented.

Qualifications:

1. We are Constitutional Representatives for the Vietnam region, participating in the Constitutional Convention taking place in December 2024 and signing the official Constitution for Cardano.
   

   

2. We have experience as community admins, managing and leading the largest Cardano ADA community in Vietnam.

3. Acted as speakers at Cardano meetups, Cardano Summit and workshops, sharing insights and knowledge about the ecosystem.

4. Trained participants for the DRep training program in Vietnam, helping them understand their roles and responsibilities.

5. Engaged actively in governance activities, demonstrating a deep understanding of Cardano’s community needs and values.

Proposal Name: Decrease Treasury Tax from 20% to 10%
Expires: March 16, 2025 (Epoch 546)

DRep Viet_Cardano_Community team will vote NO on this proposal for the following reasons:

There is no clear evidence that reducing the contribution to the Treasury will increase the number of staking participants. This requires concrete data and analysis rather than assumptions.

The Cardano ecosystem needs more resources from the Treasury, not only to fund development projects but also to boost marketing, attract new users, and support liquidity for DApps. Reducing the Treasury’s funds could slow down these efforts.

A slight increase in staking rewards does not bring significant benefits to delegators, whereas strong investment in ecosystem development creates real value, helping ADA appreciate sustainably. The focus should be on long-term growth rather than short-term benefits.
