What is the advantage of having multiple relays?

So, I have one producer and one relay.
Is there any advantage of having multiple relays run by me, and is there any difference if they are in different geographical locations?

Yes, of course … I can give you few reasons, but there are more for sure:
the recommendation is to have at least 2 relays, why:

  • if one fails your Producer will have a connection through the 2nd relay
  • fast propagation of blocks into the network
  • etc,
