Dear Readers,

This week we are pleased to share with you the updated IOHK technical roadmap and the first Cardano Webcast which gives the Cardano community the chance to ask key team members some questions!

Roadmap Update

The latest release of the Cardano roadmap comprises 15 items from IOHK, Cardano Foundation and Emurgo.

IOHK lay out technical milestones for Goguen, the next phase of development after Shelley, which include pioneering features such as sidechains and the IELE Virtual Machine. Updates from Emurgo include the establishment of business partnerships, meetups and co-working offices in Asia. Cardano Foundation’s projects include an independent software audit for the build of Cardano going forward. We believe Cardano are the only cryptocurrency to have an external auditor permanently reviewing the code, documentation and implementation processes. This will add operational rigour and technical assurance that we hope will ensure successful project delivery.
