2017 has been an exciting year for Cardano and we wanted to say thank you for your continued interest and support.
The global community has grown at an amazing pace!
You can get involved by visiting the Forum, chatting on RocketChat or following us on Twitter or joining the Facebook group. Not forgetting the Help Centre which we will be adding to over the coming months.
The next Cardano Foundation newsletter will be in the new year so keep an eye on your inbox…
Security - please be careful
Please be aware that we saw a Google Play Store scam app pretending to be a wallet this week. We immediately took action and reported it to Google.
Please be very careful when downloading so-called wallets online. There is only one official Ada wallet, Daedalus, which currently is only available for Mac and Windows. You should only download from the official Daedalus site >> https://daedaluswallet.io/#download
There is currently no official iOS or Android wallet.
The best way to keep up to date is to register and join the forum here.
We recently announced our partnership with Z/Yen on Distributed Futures an open source commercially focused research and education programme for blockchain technology. We were delighted that the first event took place in London, hosted by Michael Mainelli from Z/Yen and attended by guests from the private and public sectors. We are excited to be supporting this outstanding programme.
The event was to announce the release of its first three approaches to ‘geostamping’, along with a short guide. You can read more about the event and download the guide by clicking the link below.
Between Saturday 23rd December and Monday 1st January the community team at Cardano Foundation will be taking some time off. We will still be online, but please expect slightly slower response times over this period.
Finally from everyone at Cardano Foundation and the wider Cardano team, we wish you a happy festive period and new year!
