The Developer Portal Showcase has a pending accounting category so I wanted to refresh on Cardano market & financial tools that I haven’t surveyed in a while, as well as industry-wide crypto analytics that would include Cardano tokens. For these 2 use cases I couldn’t find anything suitable; could someone please advise?
1 - TapTools looks like it has the best visualisations, and points to the aggregator DexHunter, but I can’t see how either of them might support alerts (email would be ideal) when a tracked asset (e.g. WMTX) reaches a set target price in USD or ADA. It would also suit many financial applications, I would think, to do this for any pair of Cardano native tokens… even if only possible through an API rather than UI.
Since there’s such complete coverage of Cardano tokens in these places, I thought we would be better off getting alerts though a specialist Cardano DEX vs. generic sites like CoinGecko or software like Superalgos. If no front end is available, maybe some homegrown solution for Cardano token monitoring would be possible through Cardano data feeds and third-party software?
2 - While ADA is getting tossed around by the current market, especially during this time of weighty budget consideration, it would be helpful to have charts — and also alerts — between any 2 cryptocurrencies that wouldn’t necessarily have an exchange trading pair… and also to chart cryptos vs. gold or other general assets to help measure opportunity costs.
I had assumed Superalgos was designed with that in mind, but again couldn’t see how. It seems like it should be possible to combine data feeds from 1 or 2 APIs to construct a chart out of the raw data & get a sensible view of what an ADA treasury or budget would look like over time vs. other market opportunities.
