Announcing the stake pools chosen for January 2022

We just finished the redelegation of the Cardano Foundation Wallets. It has been three months since we changed the delegation strategy. Please see this thread for all the details: Cardano Foundation's New Delegation Methodology: Supporting the Architects of the Future

  • We got precisely 300 applications.
  • 239 out of 300 indicated that they had only one pool.
  • We evaluated them manually and checked all the information they provided. We found builder tools, open-source projects, closed-source projects, many pull requests, some CIP, educational content, whole communities around projects, and a lot of other contributions and incredible support.
  • We have identified 68 of them as outstanding contributions. See the list below. (note: pools that we would oversaturate have already been deducted here)
  • We did a random draw and delegated to 45 pools. Visit pool.pm to get a real time representation of the delegated wallets.

Congrats to everyone! And thank you for taking part even if you are not on one of these lists this time.

This time, we want to examine—even more so than usual—what these pools do while they have the delegation. We will open a new form at the beginning of February to apply for the next round. Post in the comments: what would you do when getting Cardano Foundation’s delegation for 3 months?

Honored for even making the short-list amongst so many great SPO’s. STLL will continue to explore the ecosystem and try and make some useful tools for the Cardanoverse.

GACHI made it to the shortlist among with the elites but not so lucky at the draw. We will continue to apply for the next one. Congrats to all the pools get selected. GACHI will continue with the journey, changing the world one day at a time.

we are Lost Artists Souls and Tech guy, for that reason our Mission is to bridge this amazing Areas.
before Ancient Greek Square to our new “the Token Square 17”, we have seen so many amazing Artists were fascinated with Technologies.
now is so much critical moment, and we are part of this development.

only all together we can achieve that and continue to build tomorrow today.

I think I filed the form. But it is possible it was not for this one. Anyways I am quite happy to see the current outcome and process. Feels fair and deserved.

Huge congrats to all the pools receiving the delegation, you all deserve it and are obviously all working hard to progress the ecosystem. Well done chaps :clap:

Everyone on the shortlist are all worth the delegation, one day you will get the delegation!

From my point of view, I feel like simply running a reliable pool just isn’t enough to acquire delegators, so I need to look at building something, learning more about Haskell and smart contract programmability, creating new incentives for delegation or helping people learn more about Cardano and staking with Single SPOs

Thank you CF for the effort around delegation here.

SHARP was able to fund quite a lot of development efforts due to the delegation from last quarter

  • General updates to CardanoSharp Serialization Lib (CardanoSharp.Wallet)
  • Unity and UE4 integrations of CardanoSharp
  • Cardano-Graphql and Koios .NET SDK began work
