Decided to post again to see if there are any news on the matter of Ada Recovery from the lost of spending password. Is there any news or anything in the upcoming future?
The spending password is an extra security thing at the wallet level - it does not secure your ADA on the block chain. As long as you have your 24-word mnemonic you can restore your wallet on ADALite/Daedalus/Yoroi and give it a new spending password.
