why does ADA has a supply of 25,927,070,538 in ADA
As far as I know, it is just the number of tokens that were sold at the sale, at launch. The cap is set at 45,000,000,000 Ada.

There is another discussion on this forum in regard to supply please check it out. Whilst
Supply does not dictate value, it’ll just enable more people around the globe to become more financially secure. FYI guys, Etherium has an endless supply and 1 ETH = over $400-00

Supply is probably just chosen so that 1 ADA can represent a sensible amount of real-world good value.
For example, 1 BTC is now worth like $9k. Which mean you have to either spent 0.000something of a BTC to buy something. Either that or count in a large number of satoshis.
While ETH is better, you’re still talking about a couple of eth equals a laptop. So a coffee is still 0.00something ETH.
My guess the supply is really just chosen for the optics of it. Perhaps we will reach 1 day where a coffee is several ADA (or even better an ADA is several coffee).
