Greetings Robert! Thank you kindly for being so patient. I have received this message from our CEO Shantnoo Saxena for you personally. I hope it finds you well.
Thank you so much for your question and for highlighting what so many in the Cardano community are looking for: a truly seamless, retail-friendly way to move between ADA <> stables <> Fiat without relying on traditional CEXs or a patchwork of third-party services. It’s an important topic that many in the Cardano community raise. I come from payments background working purely in the traditional money remittance business for over 9 years. We understand the pain points that the users ends up facing in terms of slow transfers, high cost and lack of transparency. By combining the product, tech and compliance at Anzens and Encryptus, we are actually ironing out the same difficulties that you highlighted.
A bit of a background. Anzens and Encryptus are managed by the same team at Encryptus. Encryptus offers regulated and compliant fiat off ramp products. The network offered by Encryptus is integrated directly with banks and financial institutions to offer fiat directly via regulated and licensed institutions in the users country. We piloted off-ramps from ADA to Fiat in about 80 countries offering fiat off ramps to bank wires, gift cards, mobile wallets and top-ups. The services are very much live for retail users.
Today Encryptus offers its services through Yoroi wallet for retail users, that helps them convert ADA to Fiat directly. The purpose of payments could be gift, remittance or help for a friend or a family member with real local currency. Infact think about Encryptus as a payment network like WISE, but for institutions who can plug into their APIs to get access to fiat in regulated manner. Where as Anzens offers retail users to move USDA to Fiat directly.
The tech and the infrastructures belong to Encryptus. The off-ramp product is a pure retail focused product that helps individuals to convert their ADA directly into Fiat bank transfers, but available via APIs or a Widget.
One of the major reasons that distinguishes Anzens USDA against any other stablecoin including USDT and USDC is their direct access to fiat. In phase 1 of Anzens product launch, Anzens is consuming the Encryptus payments network to offer USDA to USD to Fiat in 48 countries. The off-ramps are live on http://www.anzens.com/ and a demo was published here:
**Here, we offramped $100 equivalent in EUR to a Euro bank account in three minutes.
**
Anzens support Mint and Burn of USDA to both retail and institutions in the US and for global users. Anzens is very much a retail product and I suggest you to give it a try to initiate onboarding as a retail user (if you are in one of those 48 countries).
We are expected to cover more countries in the next few months and this is also one of the major reasons for Anzens to target centralised exchanges and local fiat gateways. USDA is on the edge of going live against USDT with zero trading fee on Coinstore (CEX). (Show the announcement link).
The main objective of centralised listing is actually to push retail adoption of USDA and Anzens is already allowing retail customers to register with Anzens. The users can even burn USDA to fiat into their individual bank accounts.
Where We Are Now
-
Retail Access is Already Live: Today, any eligible retail user can mint, hold, send, and burn USDA on Cardano using the Anzens platform or participating wallets like Yoroi. This means you can directly convert ADA to USDA, or mint USDA for USD, and then off-ramp those funds to your bank account in 48+ supported countries. This offramp is already as direct as possible, no need for third-party CEXs, IBAN brokers, SWIFT, or Wise. The core retail product is designed to cut through the old patchwork of intermediaries, and powered by the payment rails and infrastructure we have built at Encryptus.
-
What is Possible Now: USDA can already be sent peer-to-peer across the Cardano network, spent in DeFi, and swapped on Cardano DEXs like Minswap and Flow. You can receive USDA from anywhere and off-ramp to local fiat using Anzens/Encryptus, usually within 48 hours for most corridors.
-
Partnerships, Integrations, Listings: We are partnered with many financial institutions across the globe, our payment rails are our own - developed to compete with SWIFT, but notable recent partnerships include SH Financial, Brighton to Burj, and our listing on Coinstore:

-
Offramping vs. Payment Services: Offramping is the process of cashing out to fiat. Payment services are broader, including POS and e-commerce acceptance, bill pay, retail peer-to-peer, and business payroll. USDA, via Anzens and Encryptus, is actively expanding from simple offramping into these broader payment flows.
The Roadmap: Towards Full Retail Payment Services
- Merchant Payment Rails: we are in discussions with 2 separate card providers, who can issue global Visa and Mastercard. We believe this would help us expand and bring a better rise case for USDA and would help us in deeper adoption. The core focus for this product be to make USDA more usable.
In addition to this with Encryptus current network ADA can be offramped to local mobile wallets in as many as 80 countries. As part of our budget propose we aim to bring this functionality to Anzens platform as well. Which means retail users would be able to offramp USDA directly to their mobile wallets and would be able to pay for day to day products using fiat in their respective wallets.
Global Remittance: Partnerships with payout networks mean users can send USDA and the recipient can cash out in their local currency via bank, wallet, or even mobile top-up, across 100+ countries. This is being piloted and expanding. For instance Encryptus tested a retail payment of less than $10 to a Japanese user. This is all part of network expansion and an additional way to do retail user adoption.
- Bringing it All Together: Our mission is to consolidate the entire user experience: on-ramp, payment, transfer, and off-ramp into a single, compliant, cost-effective flow. This will minimize regulatory exposure for users and vendors, while maximizing speed and transparency.
Your Role & Feedback
-
We are actively onboarding more payment partners and exploring direct retail integrations for bill pay, retail shopping, and P2P remittances.
-
We invite the community to keep sharing which corridors and features matter most; this feedback is shaping our roadmap for expanding both coverage and usability.
We will continue sharing updates as new payment services, integrations, and retail corridors go live. Thank you for your support and please keep sharing your priorities with us.
Community Collaboration
As we roll out these B2C solutions, we’ll continue to work with the Cardano community to refine, expand, and localize these services. If you (or others) have particular countries, payment corridors, or features you’d most like to see, please keep the suggestions coming, your input directly shapes our development priorities.
We’re committed to sharing more on this front, with detailed updates on timelines and functionality, as soon as possible.
Thanks again for the feedback and giving us an opportunity to clarify.
Warmly, Shantnoo Saxena
