Are You Building on Cardano? Here’s a Unique Opportunity to Showcase Your Work for Free at the 2025 Summit in Berlin

Hello everyone,

Building on Cardano takes dedication, and your work deserves to be seen and celebrated. That’s why we’re launching the Proof of Community Initiative for the Community Masterclass Room - one of the specialized masterclass rooms at the Cardano Summit. It’s a straightforward way for you to showcase your project with a roll-up banner, right at the heart of the event, completely free of charge.

This is your opportunity to put tangible proof of your work on display for all visitors to see.
Keep on reading to see how it works:

What is the Proof of Community Initiative?

This initiative is designed with two simple things in mind for your project:

  • :small_blue_diamond: Get Seen: This is your chance to get your project in front of attendees at the 2025 Summit, completely free of charge.

  • :small_blue_diamond: Representing What’s Possible: Your roll-up banner helps to create a space that tells a compelling story of the innovation happening every day across the Cardano ecosystem.

Who Is This For?

This is open to all Cardano-native projects. If you’re building on or supporting the ecosystem, you are welcome! This includes builders, applications, Stake Pool Operators (SPOs), NFT projects, memecoins, alliances, and other community initiatives. For a detailed definition of what “Cardano-native” means for this showcase, please see the FAQ section below.

How to Participate: A Simple On-Site Process

Participation is managed through a first-come, first-served process on-site at the Summit.

  • Core Principle: We have space for 25 roll-up banners. Once all spots are filled, we cannot accept more. There is no pre-registration or way to reserve a spot.

  • On-Site Approval:

    • Arrive at the Community Masterclassroom with your roll-up banner starting the morning of November 12 and throughout the day.
    • Find Denicio, Josi, or another Cardano Foundation Community Team member for a final review.
    • If your roll-up banner meets the guidelines below, you’ll get the green light to set it up.

Rules & Guidelines: What You Need to Know

To ensure a positive experience for all involved, we ask that you follow these guidelines.

Banner Specifications:

  • Format: A standard, self-standing roll-up banner (stand required).
  • Size: Maximum size 85cm x 200cm (approximately 33.5 x 78.75 inches).
  • Quantity: One roll-up banner per core team or distinct brand.

Content Rules:

  • :white_check_mark: Allowed (Examples): Project logo & name, taglines, project descriptions, and a QR code linking to your website, Linktree, or community hubs.

  • :prohibited: Strictly Forbidden:

    • No Price Speculation: No mention of token prices, financial returns (APY/APR), or speculative language.
    • No Direct Fundraising: No explicit calls to “Buy Now” or “Invest.”
    • No Offensive Material: No insults, inappropriate imagery, or controversial statements.
    • No Negative Comparisons to any other project.
    • This also applies for QR codes and links.

On-Site Conduct:

  • Static Display Only: The roll-up banner is meant to be a static part of the room’s atmosphere, not a staffed booth. Please be mindful that workshops and presentations will be taking place in the Community Masterclass Room.

  • Placement: Our team will help you arrange the roll-up banner to create the best possible experience for everyone visiting the room.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • Q: How will the first-come, first-served process work if many people arrive at once?

    • A: The process begins when the doors open on November 12 and will last throughout the event. We’ll give approvals in the order that people check in with our team.
  • Q: How will we find the right person to approve our roll-up banner?

    • A: Denicio, Josi, or another Community Team member will be present in or near the Community Masterclass Room. Look for them in the room first. Denicio will be on-site for the majority of the time.
  • Q: What is the policy for collecting roll-up banners after the event?

    • A: All roll-up banners must be collected by the end of the day on November 13. We cannot ship any banners, but a friend or colleague can collect them on your behalf.
  • Q: Can we leave the roll-up banners in the room overnight?

    • A: Yes, you can leave your roll-up banner set up overnight at your own risk. The room will be secured, but event organizers are not liable for any loss or damage.
  • Q: Who can participate? What do you mean by ‘Cardano-native’?"

    • A: This initiative is exclusively for Cardano-native projects. To ensure fairness, a project is considered native if its primary purpose is to build on, support, or grow the Cardano ecosystem. Examples:
  • Applications, protocols, or platforms built directly on Cardano.

  • Essential infrastructure, wallets, or tooling for the Cardano ecosystem.

  • NFT projects, memecoins, or other assets issued on Cardano.

  • Communities, alliances or media outlets with a primary focus on Cardano.

Multi-chain projects are welcome, but Cardano must be a primary and significant part of their strategy to be eligible. The on-site team will make the final determination.
