Build on Cardano: Founders Journey from idea to 15+ Proposals to Catalyst Fund 15

Hi Community :waving_hand:
We are Build on Cardano (China) | Infrastructure Ventures, a founder program that has spent the last year helping builders across Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore enter the Cardano ecosystem and become founders.

Fund13: Activate non-English speakers to build on Cardano

This is our first time bringing our founders into Project Catalyst, and after months of training, workshops, proposal refinement, and technical mentoring, 15+ teams from our cohort have submitted proposals to Fund 15.

Today we want to:

  • Introduce who we are and why we’re here;
  • Share the projects we helped incubate;
  • Present the teams now applying to Catalyst through our program;
  • Open a direct line of communication with the global community.

Our goal is transparency, collaboration, and making sure these new founders, many of whom are joining the blockchain space or Cardano for the first time, can meaningfully integrate into the global ecosystem.

Build on Cardano (China) | Infrastructure Ventures, is a founder-focused initiative dedicated to onboarding developers, entrepreneurs, and researchers into the Cardano ecosystem.
Over the past months we have:

  • trained 100+ founders across China and SEA;
  • hosted workshops on Plutus, Aiken, governance, RWA, and DeFi;
  • guided 15+ teams through Catalyst proposal development;
  • helped founders build with Cardano tooling: wallets, smart contracts, on-chain logic, infrastructure.

This is the first time many of these builders have engaged with Catalyst.
We’re here to introduce them properly to the community.

Step by step, you are building a truly solid foundation in China. It is impressive to see that from your Fund 13 Catalyst delivery, more than 15 teams have now emerged to submit proposals for Fund 15.
I want to encourage you, because unlike some projects that receive funding and only return a few images as evidence, you have clearly demonstrated real work. You have helped your community understand what Cardano is, to the point where they are now able to generate innovative ideas aimed at strengthening the ecosystem and confidently submitting them to Project Catalyst.
Kudos to you sir and warm greetings to the Cardano community in China.

Hi @mwatsimulamo, thank you for the support!
That’s our biggest goal: we want and work for ecosystem impact, with new founders entering the ecosystem and supporting them in creating successful businesses. It takes time, but I believe we’re on the right track :slight_smile:
The community can stay up to date as we “Build in Public”; we release weekly updates on our progress.
