The innovations Cardano is making in functional programming (FP) are unique in the cryptocurrency space, and not many other large firms deal with FP at all. First, why do you think large (otherwise innovative) companies are less inclined to develop in FP languages? Second, given the optimism Cardano has towards the fertile ground of FP, do you foresee a greater shift towards FP in consumer/industrial applications? If so, what role can/will Cardano play in this movement?

My pet peeve is the language change when clicking “Get Started” menu item (on the cardano.org) then select Buy & Sell ADA.

In Charles’ Sept 30 AMA, he dropped the “real rewards” bombshell. This has led to a lot of speculation about how this will be done. The testnet is using testing ADA, and not real ADA. So it is logical to assume any rewards during Shelley testnet phase 2 & 3 would be testing ADA. Can you shed more light on this topic?

I am very happy with the Cardano Foundation and impressed with all the developments, new hires, and new leadership in the last 9 months. This has been an amazing transformation.

I have 1 question but it has 4 parts to it. 1. What is the plan to expand the Cardano Foundation council to include members from additional countries? 2. How many more Council members is the CF planning to add? 3. What is the timeline for expanding the CF council to an optimal number of council members? 4. From which countries or continental regions is the CF looking to add members?

When Cardano is designed to be a social worldwide accepted platform esspecially 3th world countries there should be an optimal range of value for ADA to be used for trading. With 6 digits for Lovelace ADA should have a value of 1000 to make 1 lovelace= 0.01 . What is the thought about this from the Cardano org?
