I haven’t seen/heard any discussion of P2P storage protocols. I know Cardano plans on using RINA (as opposed to TCP) as a P2P networking protocol, but IPFS is networking agnostic.
IPFS/IPLD (https://ipfs.io/) seems like a great option to either store data on the blockchain (just need a content hash and anyone can retrieve it – can also incorporate asymmetric encryption) OR store data off the blockchain and perform verified computation on data that anyone can access.
Are storage protocols just not a priority yet (understandable)? Or is the approach just to keep Cardano completely agnostic to storage protocols?
