Hello Cardano Community!
I’m excited to share a report on our community-driven project, dubbed Cardano Blockchain Certified Associate (CBCA) for Ghanaian professionals and students. This initiative is part of our Fund13 proposals.
The survey gathered responses from 56 community members interested in the CBCA course. Respondents include students, recent graduates, working professionals, and entrepreneurs, representing diverse fields like computer engineering, finance, and economics. Most participants identified their familiarity with blockchain as “beginner” or “intermediate,” with a few reporting advanced knowledge.
The primary motivations for enrolling in the CBCA course include gaining foundational blockchain knowledge, enhancing skills for career advancement, and learning to develop blockchain-based projects. Nearly all respondents (52 out of 56) expressed a strong interest in blockchain, especially in areas like decentralization, cryptocurrency, and smart contracts.
Most participants are willing to commit 3–5 hours per week to the course, and many are open to joining an organization to enhance their learning experience. Career advancement, obtaining an industry-recognized certificate, and networking are strong motivators for course completion, with significant interest in advanced blockchain topics and future opportunities within the field.
The survey results reflect a highly motivated group with varied backgrounds, eager to deepen their blockchain knowledge through the CBCA course. This report supports our proposal to help community members access the CBCA course, highlighting both the demand for foundational blockchain education and a pathway for further skill development.
At our community-led Cardano Summit in Tamale, I presented on the 10 Reasons shared by the Cardano Foundation to encourage engagement with the course, emphasizing its importance and the opportunities it offers. You can view my presentation slides here, and our project proposal here. Community support would be invaluable in bringing this initiative to life.
