We are thrilled to share the remarkable success of the official launch of the Cardano Ghana Community, a monumental event that took place on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the prestigious Maryam Dialogue Centre in Tamale.
Community Enthusiasm: The launch witnessed an overwhelming turnout of over 100 participants, each eager to delve deeper into the Cardano ecosystem and become integral members of the Cardano Ghana Community. Attendees expressed their enthusiasm to stay abreast of updates and engage in future events within the Cardano Community.
Key Contributors: The event was expertly orchestrated by Mohammed Mustapha Yakubu, the project manager and founder of the Cardano Ghana Community—a Catalyst Fund10 Project. Collaborating seamlessly were Seidu Ziblim (Technical and Media Officer), Osman Mohammed (Organizing Secretary), and Alhassan Adam (Organizer), all pivotal figures in ensuring the resounding success of Milestone 1 of the Cardano Ghana Community project.
Online Reach: Thanks to a live stream on Facebook, the event has already garnered over 100 views, amplifying Cardano’s appeal to blockchain enthusiasts, web developers, entrepreneurs, and startups across Ghana.
Educational Workshops: Participants engaged in informative sessions covering the fundamentals of the Cardano blockchain, in-depth workshops on Cardano’s Project Catalyst, and seamless onboarding processes to actively participate in the latest Fund11 round.
Special Guest Speaker: Habib Adam Maltiba, Deputy MD at DeFi Africa, graced the event as a supporting speaker. His insights on blockchain and decentralized finance (DeFi) enriched the discourse, highlighting how these elements could enhance the Cardano ecosystem.
Tokens of Appreciation: Attendees were not only enlightened but also received branded Cardano T-shirts and key holders as tokens of appreciation, creating a sense of camaraderie among the Cardano Ghana Community.
Interactive Learning: To make the event even more engaging, Cardano quizzes were incorporated into presentations. Participants showcased their knowledge and won ADA giveaways for their new wallets, adding an element of fun and reward to the learning experience.
