Vasil Hard fork - everything is on track
Vasil Hard fork - the date is 29th of June 2022
Vasil Hard fork - Right now were are preparing for the closed public testnet phase.
By the end of May, we should be in the position to be able to hardfork the testnet and at the moment we are on track with that.
Network Synchronization is doing great.
74% of SPOs are running current node version 1.34.1
But still, about 17% are running 1.33.0
We encourage these SPOs to update (Link to the node GitHub - input-output-hk/cardano-node: The core component that is used to participate in a Cardano decentralised blockchain.)
This time (during Vasil Hard fork) SPOs might need to do some tweaks to some of the scripts they are running, in order to work beyond the hard fork. All the instructions will be provided.
P2P (Peer to Peer) is being in development for a considerable amount of time - it will be a very powerful part of Cardano decentralization
Mithril is in the research and development stage. It’s going to enable people to sync faster to the network.
