CARDANO MEETUP – TAMALE, JUNE 2026: Reconnecting the Cardano Community to Drive Blockchain Innovation in Ghana

On Saturday, June 20, 2026, the Cardano Ambassador, Founder of Cardano Ghana Community, and Chosen Fintech Solutions, hosted a successful Cardano Meetup in Tamale aimed at reconnecting committed Cardano users, builders, innovators, and blockchain enthusiasts.

The meetup was designed to create a space for participants to learn, relearn, network, exchange ideas, and explore innovative solutions that will contribute to the growth of the Cardano ecosystem and strengthen blockchain adoption in Ghana.

The event received sponsorship support from the Cardano Foundation, which provided resources for promotional and participant engagement materials including T-shirts, mugs, banners, and stickers.

With support from Cardano Ghana Co-Founder, Seidu Ziblim, the meetup brought together over 20 participants from diverse backgrounds and levels of blockchain experience.

The session opened with a refresher presentation delivered by Mohammed Mustapha Yakubu, covering:

  • Introduction and overview of Cardano

  • Cardano’s consensus protocol and ecosystem architecture

  • Real-world blockchain use cases

  • A snapshot introduction to the Cardano Blockchain Certified Associate (CBCA) course available through Cardano Academy

To encourage collaboration and practical thinking, participants engaged in interactive breakout sessions, where they were divided into three groups to discuss and present ideas around:

  1. Blockchain in Education

  2. Blockchain in Healthcare

  3. Blockchain in AI and Finance

These discussions generated practical insights and highlighted opportunities for applying blockchain technology to solve real-world challenges in Ghana.

Following the group presentations, Seidu Ziblim led a community engagement session focused on matters arising within the Cardano community, ecosystem updates, and concluded with a practical walkthrough of the CBCA learning pathway via Cardano Academy.

During closing remarks, Mohammed Mustapha Yakubu re-announced the availability of FREE CBCA examination coupons valid until December 2026, encouraging participants and the broader community to take advantage of the US$99 examination waiver opportunity to gain globally recognized blockchain certification.

The meetup reaffirmed the community’s commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration in building Ghana’s blockchain ecosystem.

Highlights from the meetup will be shared on the Cardano Ghana YouTube channel:

Together, we build. Together, we innovate.
