Cardano Intro Governance Meetups #2 - Ghana

Event Summary Report:
On April 5, 2025, the Cardano Governance Meetups Ghana Edition convened 55 participants at the BMC Conference Hall to explore blockchain governance within the Cardano ecosystem. Hosted by Jeremiah Baani, a Cardano Ambassador, under the Cardano Africa Academy and supported by the Cardano Foundation and CTEIL, the event offered an engaging introduction to Cardano’s decentralized model. It aimed to deepen attendees’ understanding through practical activities, fostering enthusiasm among students and professionals, many new to blockchain technology.

The meetup featured two key sessions. First, Jeremiah delivered an in-depth overview, covering Cardano’s mission, governance structure, and ecosystem opportunities, complemented by a hands-on wallet creation workshop.

The second session divided participants into six groups for a 30-minute brainstorming activity, focusing on case studies about Cardano’s potential in healthcare and education. Each group presented their solutions, with top performers earning ADA rewards, sparking lively discussions and creative applications of blockchain technology.

The event successfully ignited interest in blockchain adoption, making Cardano’s governance accessible and relevant to attendees. By blending education with interactive problem-solving, it laid the groundwork for future initiatives to expand blockchain awareness in Ghana, particularly in practical fields like healthcare and education, marking a significant step toward broader technology adoption.
